Dried apricots: danger of frost seems to be averted

MALATYA. Temperatures in Turkey remain high and growers can breathe a sigh of relief as there is no indication of a possible risk of frost. Prices have fallen slightly.

Weather remains a decisive factor

Weather conditions in Turkey's apricot-growing regions remain favourable and no exceptional events are expected this week either. Temperatures are forecast to be around 24-30°C and the danger of late frost feared by farmers seems to have been averted.

Commodity prices have declined slightly by TRY 10/kg compared to last week, but market players do not expect prices to fall more sharply in the near future, as there are no more clean, high-quality products and there is still a long way to go before the new crop will be ava
