MALATYA/REUS. While some exporters firmly expect demand to pick up after the Ramadan festivities, others expect it to remain weak. The market is extremely quiet during this week of Eid.

Good weather conditions

Farmers in Turkey's apricot-growing regions are still extremely satisfied with the current weather conditions. At the moment, there are no unusual occurrences and temperatures between 17 and 23°C and occasional rainfall have been reported for the next few days. However, some exporters have started to buy more raw materials from growers as they expect demand to increase after the Ramadan festivities, while others assume that the current demand situation will not change for the time being.
