The massively increased prices for Indian cumin have scared off many buyers. Compared to last week, there have now been significant declines and prices are slowly settling at a level that can hold their own on the international market. Good crops in Syria and Turkey are putting pressure on the Indian market, also because Indian importers are increasingly buying cumin from Syria.
